Track Tapas Days

What could be more fun for a race car aficionado than to take the wheel at Lime Rock Park for a two-hour course in its new Track Tapas Day program. The event allows participant to drive both Lime Rock’s Autocross and the 1.5-mile iconic road course. Beginner or intermediate-level participants will learn from a trained driving instructor while using their own cars.

Any car or truck type will be accepted and groups will be small—no larger than 10. Instruction will be one-on-one and participants must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. There are options for morning and afternoon sessions. Some sessions will run one group at a time while others will run two groups.

When two groups are run at the same time, one will be on the track with a pace car while the second group is receiving radio instruction for the Autocross. Following a break, the two groups will change locations.

Participants should arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the program start time. Each session is $175, with registration completed in advance of the program. Covid guidelines will be observed, and no guests will be allowed at this time.

Sessions are planned for Tuesday, June 1st, 11 AM; Thursday, June 17th, 10AM; Tuesday, June 29th, 10AM; Wednesday, July 7th, 10AM; Tuesday, July 13th, 10AM; Thursday, August 19th, 10AM, second session at noon; Wednesday, August 25th, 10AM, second session at noon; Thursday, September 23rd, 10AM; Tuesday, October 19th, 10AM, second session at noon.
